Everything about Rebecca and Pete’s wedding day was a sweet balance between charming and playful. Firstly, they welcomed all of their guests to bring their fur-babies since their very own ringbearer was their pup, Gomez. He and Pete had matching bowties, it was so great. Secondly, everything was colorful!
On the way to the ceremony site, there were branches stuck in the ground that donned pinwheels of all shapes and hues. And when I got to the ceremony, it was hard to ignore the lovely arch that Pete had crafted for him and Rebecca to say their vows under (which by the way, was itself underneath a towering mother fig tree). During the ceremony, Gomez, yanked his way over to be at his mom and dad’s feet.
This is the first time I have witnessed a parade at a wedding! Rebecca and Pete were the leaders of the parade, naturally, with the band and all of the guests right behind them. Pete, with his pinwheel staff, stopped to give his bride a big smooch and started to dance with her in the middle of the procession. As you’ll see in their portraits, these guys were just so silly in the best way possibly. I hardly had to direct them in what to do as they were just by default silly. I seriously loved every minute of this day. 😀
